Vajra Kila Heruka (Dorje Phurpa)
Vajrakilaya, a wrathful manifestation of enlightened activity, is revered for removing obstacles, subduing negative forces, and purifying defilements. Shown in union (yab-yum) with his light-blue consort, he symbolizes the inseparability of wisdom and compassion.
He is depicted with three faces blue, red, and white six arms, and a crown of skulls. His signature attribute, the phurba dagger, pierces through spiritual hindrances, while his other implements include vajras, a flaming snare, and a trident. The demons beneath his feet signify the subduing of one’s own ego. Vajrakilaya embodies the victorious power that transforms obstacles into the path of realization.
