Guru Rinpoche
Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava (Nangsi Zilnon), is honoured as the Second Buddha. He is depicted holding a vajra in his right hand and a Kapala containing a longevity vase in his left while cradling a trident in his left arm. These symbols represent his triumph over negativity. Accompanied by his spiritual consorts, Mandarava and Yeshe Tshogyal, and Tshepagmed (Amitayus) positioned above his head, Guru Rinpoche embodies the Buddhas of the three Kayas. He is celebrated for his role in disseminating Buddhism throughout Bhutan and Tibet.
