Mandala of the Buddha's 12 Deeds

The Buddha is portrayed delivering his first sermon, symbolizing the turning of the Wheel of Dharma, to his five disciples at Deer Park in Sarnath, near Varanasi. He is depicted holding an alms bowl in his left hand. The images surrounding the inner circle illustrate the Buddha’s 12 Great Deeds, known as Zeypa Chunyi.
